Responsibilities:
- Hands on experience in Preventive Maintenance of Reciprocating / Screw Air Compressors, BOP, Generators.
- Hands on experience in using various tools and portable test equipment.
- Understand technical information
- Erects, commissions, repairs and carries out preventive maintenance of air compressors at customer installations. Consults with supervisor or customer to plan layout of equipment.
- Perform on-site installation, validation and commissioning of air compressors.
- Perform remedial repair activities at customer sites. Trouble-shooting, service and repair as per OEM recommendations.
- Submit spares recommendations for customer issues resolution as per the Spares Recommendations Procedure.
- Provide on-site training on basic maintenance tips to customers.
- Interface with cross-functional marketing teams like spares and equipment.
- Timely and professionally handle Service Calls arising from field service visits. Coordinate with Senior Service Engineer, Lead Engineer and Service Coordinator as appropriate.
- Timely complete and submit Field Service Report and other relevant documents.
- Communicate with customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective action.
- Perform assigned duties under instructions/supervision of assigned Senior Engineer
- Responsible for fulfilling scope of work and its compliance to OEM stipulated practices, recording various parameters and its calculations and analysis.
